Lu Monferrato is a small village that has as one of its characteristic a great flowering of vocations to the Church. Among these were many FMA and Salesians. This is where Blessed Filippo Rinaldi was born. Here also Sr. Angela Vallese, pioneer and leader of the first FMA missionary expedition, was born.
