The Salesians arrived in Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego in 1879 led by Don Cagliero and Don Fagnano and pushed where no one had yet arrived. Like Don De Agostini, a missionary, friend of Aboriginal tribal leaders and founder of Salesian works from 1910 onwards.
