La confessione fu evidentemente uno dei mezzi più efficaci nelle mani di Don Bosco per educare i suoi ragazzi. Era la sorgente dell’educazione personale più profonda e immediata. Quando si trattava di iniziare l’educazione di un ragazzo, il Santo gli diceva: « Confessati! ».
