It was done by Rollini from a sketch by Bartholomew Bellisio. This portrait of his mother was given to Don Bosco on his feast-day, 24th of June 1855. When he saw it, the Saint exclaimed : “It is really her; only her voice is lacking.” The portrait is kept in the Don Bosco Museum in Turin.IT |
